Together, we can end poverty in our lifetime
Sylverine, one of our Rising artisans from Rwanda, survived the 1994 genocide by hiding in a hole for 3 months. Now a Rising Artisan, she has used her Rising income from selling baskets to buy a plot of land.
Susanna, one of our Rising Representatives in the US, lost her brother to a drive by shooting. Now she uses her income from selling Sylverine's baskets to help move her family into a safer neighborhood.
Rising contributions help those in our own communities and those in communities on the other side of the planet.
"What I love about Rising International is that it's both local and global."
declares United States Congressman Sam Farr
Whether we're creating entrepreneurs in Nepal or San Francisco, your donation can mean the difference between hunger or the opportunity to thrive for women and their families.
Join us in creating a world where everyone has the chance to prosper.
Because 90% of all Rising staff are volunteers, overhead is extremely low. Your Rising contribution is spent on those that need it most... the artisans living in extreme poverty and our underemployed Rising Representatives.
We're expanding our entrepreneurial program to empower more under-employed women, and we need your help. We hope you'll be inspired to donate today!
